A Service to Celebrate the Life of Sharon "Sam" Hinton

Please join her family and friends for a service of laughter, love, and tears to remember the life of Sharon "Sam" Hinton on Friday, February 29, 2008, in the Sanctuary of First Unitarian Universalist Church.
As she was a member at one time of all 3 New Orleans-area congregations, members and friends of the GNOUU cluster are cordially invited.
We will gather together from 6:30-7 pm; the service will begin at 7 pm.
After the service, there will be an informal reception in her honor, in the Fellowship Hall.
Please call the First Church office at 504-866-9010 to offer your help with arrangements.
Sam made several requests of her loved ones for this service:
- that there be lots of laughter
- that the only flowers be sprays of calla lilies
- and that donations be made in her name to GNOUU, First UU Church, and the American Cancer Society.
For those unable to attend the service, informal gatherings of friends are being held nightly at the home of Ann Maclaine, 8317 Panola Street, 504-314-6588.
