On Saturday, March 29th beginning at 4 PM, Arlington Street UU Church in Boston is going to show some NOLA love by fundraising for New Orleans with bands that are GIVING THEIR TIME for the event.
Arlington Street Church is very active in the continuing efforts to rebuild New Orleans. The rebuilding of New Orleans is about raising awareness of social justice and racism, as well as helping people that do not have the means to rebuild. On March 29th, at 4 p.m., they are hosting Soul Is Waterproof, an evening of music to raise funds to continue the rebuilding process in New Orleans. Tickets can be purchased online or by mail.Check out the event information at the Arlington Street UU Church's website. All money raised will go to First UU Church in New Orleans.
