Our Sunday morning worship service on December 9 combines a justice-centered Chanukah celebration with the renewal of one of our most beloved pre-Katrina traditions: Trimming our holiday tree. Whether it is to you a Yule Tree, Christmas Tree or Chanukah Bush, please bring an ornament to place upon our community tree this Sunday.
Much of the service is based on the book The Christmas Menorahs: How a Town Fought Hate by Janice Cohn and Bill Farnsworth.
