Earth Scouts this Sunday, 1/6

It's Earth Scouts time again! This month, Earth Scouts will convene immediately following the intergenerational Sunday worship service, Lessons From Evolution: We Are Stardust. The schedule change is due to the extraordinary appropriateness of this week's service topic, our great privilege to have special guests of such renown and our desire for children and youth to have the opportunity to experience both special programs. People wishing to attend Earth Scouts only should arrive at 11:45 AM, and head to the large classroom in the Oscar Flowers Religious Education wing. The service will begin at 10:30.

This will be our second session of Earth Scouts, which is facilitated for children and youth ages 3 through 17 by the Conscious Living Covenant Group of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans. Last month's activities included an overview of the Earth Scouts philosophy and a chance to create models of the world as we want to see it.

Earth Scouts New Orleans is sponsored by the Religious Education Program for Children & Youth of First Unitarian Universalist Church of New Orleans, and is open to children and youth of all faiths and backgrounds.
